Event Overview

The PH Tech Expo 2025 was held at the EUI Events Center, Port Harcourt, on June 5th and 6th, bringing together business leaders, innovators, and technology enthusiasts for two days of productive sessions and networking. The event focused on driving innovation, enhancing productivity, and shaping the future of technology in Rivers State and beyond.

Keynote Speakers

These distinguished speakers, alongside a diverse lineup of over 40 experts, shared insights across fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation, Agri-Tech, Law-Tech, and startup development strategies.

Day 2 Highlights: Agri-Tech, Law-Tech & Startup Masterclass

The second day featured focused sessions that highlighted the breadth of innovation in the tech ecosystem:

Agri-Tech Session

Led by Naona Usoroh, Head of International Partnerships at the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), the Agri-Tech session brought together pioneers such as Luther Lawoyin, CEO/Founder of PricePally, and Deina Mayaki, CEO/Co-founder of Agriarche Ltd. Discussions centered on leveraging technology to boost agricultural productivity and improve market access.

Law-Tech Session

The Law-Tech session was an eye-opener on Data Privacy and Protection, emphasizing the necessity for tech businesses to comply with government regulations by consulting professional legal experts to navigate complex laws effectively.

Startup Masterclass

A rich masterclass provided startup founders with actionable strategies for scaling, funding, and overcoming challenges in the tech startup landscape.

Vision for the Future

During the session on Data Sovereignty in Nigeria’s Petroleum Industry Future, Dr. Daere Akobo, FCIoD (Chairman/GCEO, PANA Holdings) proposed that PH Tech Expo be recognized as an international event. He also called for enhanced support from the Rivers State Government to encourage youth participation and foster startup growth in the region’s vibrant tech scene.

The next PH Tech Expo is scheduled for 2026, promising to build on this year’s momentum and success.
